Teenage underwater model who set a world scuba depth record for women using compressed air when aged 16. Appeared in advertisements, magazine covers, TV shows and made appearances in feature films and TV series. Also a body stand-in for Brooke Shields in The Blue Lagoon (some say 40% of the movie features Kathy)! Today lives in Queensland, Australia with her brother Jeff, and 3 cats, three dogs, many aquarium fish and many exotic parrots - which she breeds. An episode of Skippy the Bush Kangaroo was written especially to include Kathy - a real life marine biologist at the time.

We know you were the underwater nude stand-in for Brooke Shields–But what is never mentioned, is that you were totally convincing at the age of 33, to double for a most beautiful 15 year-old!!–Says a lot for you!
Well,fell in love when reading the real story,re Kathy’s appearance in of Age of Consent, in the “Australasian Post” back then. Why is it that nobody recalls or posts, that Kathy also did the nude swim scenes for Helen Mirren in that movie?? Nobody left at same age as Kathy and me?? Never given the credit she deserved.
